The beautiful country of
EATALOT was ruled by the wise and fat king Lionel Hiccup.
He loved food, good food, preferably in large amounts. Eating was his hobby, his life, his single
passion -- except for drinking beer. In fact, everyone in Eatalot was fat and fond of eating and
drinking good things, but king Hiccup was definitely the greatest (and biggest, fattest) Gourmand
of them all. For a reason that nobody could explain, the country never ran out of food. All the
people had enough to eat, no one had to starve. It was the ultimate paradise for people who cared
a fuck about the lean cuisine. King Lionel Hiccup was the idol of many young men -- and women --
who wanted to be as fat as him.
One wealthy restaurant owner even named a dish after him: The
magnificent, gigantic HICCUP BURGER; three times as big as an ordinary burger and
containing four times more cholesterine -- yummy, yummy, yummy!
One day a visitor from a foreign country appeared: Cordula Carrot, official
ambassador from VEGETARIA. She was very thin and favoured healthy dishes made of vegetables only.
When the king saw her for the first time, he was very shocked and told his royal kitchen-staff:
"Give her something to eat! Oh my god, that stranger is starving! No one shall have to starve
in my country!"
Cordula said quickly: "No, thank you, but I'm quite all right!" --
"Oh, nonsense, lady, you do have to try at least one of our delicious snacks --
we have burgers, chips, chilli, whatever you want!" -- "No, thank you", she replied,
"if you don't mind, I'd just like a cup of tea and a sandwich with cucumbers and carrots; no
sauce or butter, please, no cholesterine at all!" King Lionel was flabbergasted. If he had
known how much she disgusted the sight of his 270 pound heavy body, he would have been extremely
angry as well. But so he only was fascinated by this young (and indeed very beautiful) woman,
feeling some kind of sympathy for her who didn't seem to be able to enjoy a good, fatty and greasy
meal!
Nevertheless, the more he got her to know, the more he liked her; he even fell in love with
that weird person. But as she didn't like him the way he was, he decided to slim. He ate much less
and healthier than he used to before; apart from that, he also got engaged in some sportive activities
-- That was exactly what Cordula had wanted him to do since her arrival.
However, his people began
loosing their trust and loyalty when they saw him loosing more and more weight. Though when they saw
his condition and health improving, they realised that slimming was not such a bad idea at all! Thus
the new way of eating became a mixture of VEGETARIAN and former EATALOTIAN food culture. Only his
wife Bellemeat was too lazy to support that reformation or even to join it. But Lionel
had never really loved her, anyway, and so they got divorced.
Finally, Cordula fell in
love with the king and they got married. Although she never gave up her orthodox-Vegetarian
way of living and he still enjoyed a fatty burger now and again, they were quite happy together; just
like all the people in Eatalot (except for the king's ex-wife), who in general enjoyed the new,
healthy side of life.
